Head Coach | Brianne Smithson

Coach Smithson began her tenure as the head women’s soccer coach at Bowdoin College in 2012.  Under her leadership, the Polar Bears have earned six bids to the NCAA tournament, a trip to the "Sweet 16" in 2023, three appearances in the NESCAC Championship game, had seven All-Americans, three Scholar All-Americans, and earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Ethics Award and the Team Academic Award every season.  She is an enthusiastic student of the game and holds the United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma and the Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma.
